The 10 biggest fitness mistakes people make

Even just take a few of these and see what is relevant to you.

Just improving one of them for the next 7 to 14 days could make all the difference to your results..

Here is what I think are 10 of the most common mistakes people make when it comes to their Health and Fitness:
1 – Carbs – Carbs are apparently seen as the devil of all. Just because the ripped men and women that step on stage have taken VERY little to get that look.
It’s not Carbs that are bad, it’s overeating them in every single meal that’s bad

2 – Not enough protein – While eating all these carbs we eat way too little Protein, load up on your meats and eggs etc

3 – No idea how many calories they are consuming compared to their exercise levels – People who are sedentary can eat to much and people that are training 4- 6 times a week tend to eat way to little.

It’s important to get the right balance for you!

4 – Too many crunches – Loads of crunches will NOT get rid of the belly fat and won’t really develop your core just NO NO NO so please stop

5 – Too much cardio – Have covered this a lot before. Replace 70% of that cardio with resistance training and you will start to get on the right track

6 – information overload – I know one very successful business man who has a 3 question rule… If they ask more than 3 questions they are an information seeking pain in the ass so they won’t be a good customer. I laughed when I heard this on the podcast as it made so much sense.

You more than likely have a fair idea of what you need to do so get on it or work with someone who does know what they are at

7 – Not enough rest/ sleep – Something we all do. Focus more on getting sleep, even if you need a power nap or just chill for the evening. Try not to always be go go go

8 – Being Dehydrated – Get 2- 3 litres of water a day

9 – Being to hard on themselves – Getting depressed because somebody on Instagram is ripped and lifting heavier than you doesn’t mean a thing.

Focus on your own goals and limit your times on social media if you need to

10 – Listening to dumbass trainer’s – If your trainer is pushing any of the above then he/ she is a Dumbass, simple as that!

We come across these problems day in and day out with our conversations with our clients.

They can be very easily worked out but unfortunately people always go the hard way about these things..

Accountability (having someone there to push you) is the key to success in most areas
