Got this little reply last week:
Hi darragh how’s things. I meant to reply sooner. Before week 3 I was quite sick. It turned out to be in the early stages of pregnancy. A complete shock as I was advised I may need medication to conceive. Hence the reason I started the 6 week course to try and get in reasonable shape.
Anyway I loved the classes, times suited for after work and the trainers all had good variety. Especially loved the boxercise.
So my apologies for not replying.. Life has took a positive turn which we are delighted with just took a bit to get used to.
Top classes and trainers, and times for classes. I would say yous are the only gym with a bit of common sense to help those who work and commitments. A definite reason that I will be back in the near future. Wish yous continuing success.
It has happened about 4 times in the past few years where ladies have been struggling to get pregnant but have then got pregnant when starting to exercise with us (Click here to find out if you shoulx train when your pregnant)
It’s hard to find research to back this stuff up but from reading up on it it seems that exercise is becoming more important…
So I’m not saying doing some resistance training and some cardio will get you pregnant before anyone gets all excited
I’m not that bad at biology!!
But my point is that if you have tried everything and are really struggling then it is most definately something worth looking into
And if you have been reading these emails for any amount of time you should know what I mean by “proper exercise”
It’s not walking the dog twice a week.
It’s lifting some weights for your resistance training and getting the heart rate up with some form of Cardio.
Exercise is prescribed to help us with pretty much everything in life so why would it not help when it comes to fertility. (Click here to find out if you need to exercise to lose weight)
On another note,
The “common sense” but we find is something really missing in the Fitness world a lot of the time and it’s hard to know if it is getting better or worse
We have stayed away from any booking system for classes and should be able to going forward as we want to give people the flexibility to be able to come and go as they please.
We also know that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and need to progress at their own rate so we can’t just be in peoples faces all the time
as this doesn’t get people anywhere.
Remember we are now giving the option of 30 minute or 60 minute PT sessions.
I am finding these 30 minute sessions absolutely great for new people to get started and build themselves up so if you are interested just fill in the form here
