My email a few weeks back created a bit of a stir and seems to have sent the rumour mill into overdrive.
The trainer’s have had good craic telling me all the ideas that are being banded about.

Last week I seen a video on the gram by James Smith talking about Apple Cider Vinegar and how it gets asked regualar

and how the question drives him nuts.
In fairness to him he answers the questions that the rest of us in Fitness are sick listening to and I would imagine a big percentage of his audience are PT’s watching him for the LOL’s
He also has the balls to say online that the rest of us mumble under our breath so fair play to him.
If you have been reading these emails for a considerable amount of time I hope you know the answer to that question.
As you can imagine he went on a bit of a rant about how stupid it is for people to think that taking this one little thing is going to have a massive impact on Fat Loss
What did he say has a massive effect on Fat Loss?
Crazy things like
Being in a calorie deficit. Yes, just eat slightly, yes slightly, less than you need over a decent period of time like 12 weeks and you will notice great changes. (click here to find out the Principles of all diets….)
Exercise properly. Lift some bloody weight’s and get some cardio in
Sleep well. 7 to 8 hours a night or get your naps in. We all have those night’s of 4 to 6 hours kip but try to make it up somewhere else over the course of the week. (Click here to find out about The Power of the Nap)
You get that the idea.
It always amazes me that fully grown adults over the age of 30 can be that green that they think one little thing is going to change their life forever.
It’s just about forgivable if someone 21 or younger does it but over 30’s should have enough life experience to know that nothing is ever that simple and that it takes a lot of ingredients to bake a cake.
As you get older it gets harder and harder to have sympathy for these people without thinking their just morons, pure and simple.
Don’t get me wrong,
There are always ways to do things better and I am always looking at ways to improve my diet, my training program, run my business smoother and just make life is easier.
But the foundations need to be laid first and the basics need to be nailed before looking to push on to more detailed stuff.

As you read this myself and Lorraine will be in Cork about to head to a wedding.
Due to our own wedding at the end of the year this week is our only get away together this year so I have promised Lorraine, and myself to be honest, that there will be very little work done for at least a few days.
