You can never miss what you never had
You hear people say this in a good way to suggest if you have never known a certain way then you can’t miss it so get over it
which of course is true.
But it can also be used in a negative way, a very negative way!
The problem with that line of thinking is that you easily accept what is given to you rather than fighting for better. (Click here to find out how the Fight Goes On)
And without even thinking it you will start to think that having certain energy levels is “just the way it is” or being in pain “is just old age” when in reality that is all complete BS
And a lot of our members have found that out over the years, including this lady:
I keep meaning to reply to your emails for along time now.
I joined Dutchys about 7 weeks ago, absolutely LOVE it ! That much id love to go twice a day if I could.
The reason I joined was to finally do something for me, finally try get back into the shape I wanted ( or as close as I could to it)
I had a baby nearly 7 years ago so I Can’t use the excuse “I just had a baby” any longer 🤦🏼♀️. And I want to see them non-existent core muscles again.
Also , there were a good few blips along the way stopping me , mainly getting a lumbar miscrodisectomy followed 3 level spinal fusion last year due to a genetic degeneration condition. I was very hesitant about joining because of the circuits (with a few exercises and stretches, my body can’t bend that way anymore) but I can definitely say it has imporoved my strength massively and by strengthening my muscles and core I’m finally having no back pain for the first time in years.!
Your trainers are amazing also and motivate me so much during the classes. I’m one of those people who need to be pushed to work out so the gym would be a definite no for me.
My motivation is getting in shape for my first proper sun holiday in far too long at the end of August so 🏼. But even after this I am definitely NOT going to give up.
I have noticed a massive improvement in my body and mood, sleep far better at night and have more energy for my crazy child.
Also, I have dropped nearly 2 clothes sizes and people actually mention it to me (which I’m loving ).
Thank you so so much for everything ( Even the 6am/7am classes that I am still 90% asleep going to )
I haven’t felt this good in years.
