That was a lively Bank Holiday wkend
No winners in Galway but was good craic all the same so that be the end of the sessions for a good 6 or 8 weeks anyway.
And the mighty Farney Army have made the All Ireland semi final for the 1st time in 30 years.
I know you may have no interest in Football but know this
When their manager Malachy O’Rourke took over in the winter of 2012/ 2013 they had got relegated in each of the past 2 seasons and had only won 1 championship game in 2 years and that was against a very poor team.
Since then they have stayed in the top Division after 2 promotions in a row, have won 2 Ulster titles and now an All Ireland semi final
as well as always being hard to beat and getting to quarter finals.
And of course there are loads of such stories in sports and they are always really cool to hear.
The Irish ladies Hockey team is another great story.
We would like to think that every person that comes in to try out 1 of our sessions is maybe looking out for “that coach” and “that environment” that can change everything for them in terms of their Health & Fitness and all the great things that come off that such as confident, better sleep etc
Never underestimate the power you have over other people as a coach/ trainer/ teacher/ parent etc.
You are only EVER as good as the people around you, no matter how good you think you are or how much you beat yourself up for not achieving this or that
you will only ever be as good as the people around you so if you have a choice choose them wisely and if you don’t have a choice,
then you will just have to ride it out and make the most of it!
And while you will never please everybody and some people simply can’t be helped no matter who try’s to help them
You need to focus on the people that actually do want to be helped and are willing to put the work in.

Yes all is good. I only got to two classes this week, yesterday morning and this morning. I’ll try get to more next week. I’ve been doing a small amount of running outside of them also as I can’t make certain class times.
The classes are very good; tough, short and sweet. Getting a good sweat up and a few aches after which is beneficial.
I have been following the nutrition guide I would say 75%. Room for improvement. Ill take a look at the next one. I am down about 4 lbs. but feel toned up and a bit slimmer already.
Don’t forget that we are closed today in all 3 facilities for the Bank Holiday so be sure to get our for a walk/ run and can throw in some Push-ups/ Squats etc to get a bit in,
If you are fit to of course so if not then rest up and make sure to get at it tomorrow to get back into the swing of things.

Our new Platinum and 12 Week Get Lean Project times will be 6am, 7:15am and 10am in the morning and 5:30, 6:45 and 8:00 in the evening.
Sessions will be on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday’s and we will be looking to have only 6 people in each session, 8 absolute max.
For 12 weeks it will be just €420 for 2 of those sessions along with unlimited classes or €480 for 12 weeks of 3 strength sessions a week and unlimited classes so it’s actually better priced for you then at the minute.
We will be opening on 3rd of September and I will be starting to advertsing it soon.
At the minute we have 23 people in the program and about 6 to 7 booked in to start on the 3rd.
So that’s 30 people and are max is between 36 to 48 people for these sessions.
