No Guts, No Glory They Say

Now that I’m not taking many sessions it can be pretty much impossible to see everyone but I do try my best.

I would like to take more sessions and do miss it but it’s simple not a smart move as the trainers need the hours for the work and I need to keep on top of everything else

and it seems to be working very well so why would we fix it.

So when someone is away or on holidays it’s great to pop in and take a few sessions just to keep me in the game and hopefully not get to rusty.

The other night I was taking sessions and was texting 1 of the members afterwards.

She has made ridiculous progress since joining us 18 weeks ago.

Anyhoo, I scrolled all the up to the top of our convo to see how we started as I always like to know how people come into us to get a good idea of whats working or not and it turns out she messaged me with

“Hi Darragh…. my name is **** and since I’ve registered am getting your emails and they do push me to stop thinking and do something myself. Am absolutely petrified but is it still ok to join the 6 weeks program next week? Thanks

Turns out these emails do work,

Go Figure!

I use to be somewhat petrified at writing emails and putting out content online.

Afraid of what people think or say etc but thats why we need to focus on the bigger picture

Some dumbass comment replying to an email isn’t really gonna make much difference either way to anyone’s life

But someone using it to take action and get started with looking after their Fitness & Health and realising that it can be a blast to do

thats pretty damn cool!

And don’t forget I get cranky replies regular enough.

Even yesterday I was ringing up a guy who had enquired about one of our programs and he told me I was recking his head with emails and to delete him off the list.

I just laughed, said no problem and wished him all the best,

no harm done!

The late psychiatrist Dr. David Viscott, and author of “Risking”, wrote

“If you cannot risk, you cannot grow. If you cannot grow, you cannot become your best. If you cannot become your best, you cannot be happy. If you cannot be happy, what else matters?”

While that may be a bit cheesy,

its still true!

We don’t do half enough checking in with people that we should do, both members and potential members but we do our best.

People are so afraid of offending people these days they are terrified of putting themselves out there.

I laugh when other business owners say to me that we do too much on Social Media, it’s 2018 buddy get with the times!

There is only so long you can sit around “learning” things and discussing things.

At some stage you have to bite the bullet and take a risk to make any sort of head way.

And there will always be people to tell you its a mistake and no need to do this or do that but if you do your own home work then you have to trust your gut at some stage and go for it.

Think Big And Kick Ass

PS

Be sure to remember that we are closed for the Bank Holiday this coming Monday.
