Scrolling through Netflix Saturday night looking for a decent movie to watch I came across The Big Short and remembered it was on my “To watch List”
If you haven’t seen it then I would highly recommend it
It’s about the housing crash in America in 2008 and more so about the build up to it and how it came about and it’s pretty mind blowing
even if your a dummy like me and get a bit lost on all the exact in’s and out’s of stock and economy talk it’s crazy how unregulated it all was and how gangsters we’re let do what they wanted
which of course we had a lot of similar carry on in this country but I’ll not go down that road
The arrogance and BS off these guys is something else and how none of them went to jail says so much about the corruption going on
Now these guys that know everything and pushing people into dodgy financial decisions seem to have moved to the online space and new cycles go round and round there
and a new generation of people get caught out and lose their money
With Trump going falling out with everyone and Brexit coming up it seems like we have another recession ready to hit us and will be interesting times ahead
What the hell has this got to do with Fitness?
Everything
because people continue to fall for this nonsense of “easy money” or “easy weight loss” and get pulled in
When anything seems to be to good to be true it usually is so we need to get people away from thinking this stuff is easy
It’s simple
but it sure ain’t easy

It’s simple steps of getting the workouts in and eating the right foods and looks simple when written on paper but when we throw in our emotions and every day life then it all gets a bit more messed up
I seen an ad on Snapchat the other day with some shithead talking about some Metabolism test he had that could finally reveal what you need to do to lose your body fat
WTF????
In other news,
I just want to give you a head’s up that 16th of September is D Day regarding all our programs
The 6 Week Transformation Program is launching that day for our group training
Our 12 Week Get Lean Project (Small Group Personal Training) will be starting a new training program that day and with people already in touch about getting their spot back after the summer I’m not sure how many spots will be left in 2 weeks time
and our Fabulous Fit 50’s Program will be on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 11:30am which is a beginner class
